1,001 Day Project
You might have seen this on other blogs. I love the idea, so I took a few days to think of things I’d like to accomplish and came up with my list.
A lot of my goals have to do with food and health, but I’ve thrown in some other things to mix it up. I hope I can complete them all, of course. I’ll keep blogging about my progress to have some accountability built in. Right now I think #54, Send query letters to agents, will be the hardest thing to do. We’ll see.
Want to make your own list? Head over to Day Zero to get started.

I hiked around Bastrop State Park two weekends ago. Really pretty wooded park just an hour east of Austin. So many pine trees that it smells like Christmas. Saw lots of lizards and two white-tailed deer. Lots of natural solitude. I highly recommend it! There’s also a 13-mile scenic drive from the north end of Bastrop S.P. over to the sister park Buescher S.P. I haven’t done that yet, but I hear it’s a lovely and scenic drive.
