Apparently I’m spectacular at not sticking to my plan when I’m home alone. Aside from keeping up my dinner plans, I had grand ideas of all the projects I would get done while the boys were off having fun in Minnesota. The only thing I did complete was September’s challenge for The Daring Bakers. When mama needs a day off, she really needs a week.
They come back today though, so we’ll be back on our routine and toys will again be strewn all over my currently clean house.
I did manage to eat my little lamb burgers though, and had them with the arugula potato salad. The lunch table was impressed at my leftovers the next day.

Monday: Their flight arrives at 5:15, so we’ll probably have a belated birthday dinner (it was Friday) for my husband out somewhere
Tuesday: Stuffed pork chops and acorn squash
Wednesday: Ravioli
Thursday: Veggie burgers and sweet potato fries
Friday: Pizza
Saturday: Zucchini risotto
Sunday: Tandoori chicken (from Greatest Ever Indian if I can find tamarind paste) and lemon-parsley potatoes (from Veganomicon)
