Bananas are apparently Americans’ favorite fruit, but I say we take that back with crispy, juicy apples. Apple grow all over the country (even here in Texas!), making it a fruit we don’t have to worry about importing. Plus they store really well, are one of the easiest snacks to eat, and can be used in tons of ways.

I love apple pie with a cheddar crust. I’m a nervous pastry maker and the cheese helps make the dough more pliant. Plus, the cheese and apples taste great together!

Ours always just get eaten. Trying my hardest to keep a large stash out of reach (top-o-fridge) so that I can make a batch of apple sauce.

Those all look amazing! Especially that pie.
I’ve been obsessed with applesauce for months and so that’s what I’ve been doing with my apples. And in September I love to make everything with them! Apple everything.
