Homemade Strawberry Pretzel Ice Cream
Make ice cream base
To a blender, add in softened cream cheese
Add zest of 1 lemon
Add sour cream
Add half and half
Add sugar and a pinch of salt, then blend until smooth. Chill.
Make strawberry sauce
Blend strawberries until smooth. Combine with sugar and lemon juice and cook until thickened.
Make pretzel crumble
Combine crushed pretzels, butter, and brown sugar and bake. Crumble once cool and crisp.
Put it together
Churn ice cream in machine
Add pretzel bits in last minute of churning.
Layer ice cream and strawberry sauce in container.
Run a butter knife through to swirl sauce in ice cream. Cover and chill.
