How to Make Starbucks  Cheese Danish

Skip the line! These cheese danishes are easy to make at home.

Gather ingredients

Softened cream cheese

Granulated sugar

Egg

Puff pastry

Water

In a small bowl, beat together cream cheese and sugar.

Make sure it is completely smooth with no lumps.

Roll out puff pastry and cut into eight equal rectangles.

Transfer puff pastry to a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Use a paring knife to score a smaller rectangle into each piece, leaving a small border on all sides.

Spread cream cheese filling evenly onto pastry inside the smaller rectangle.

Beat an egg with water and use a pastry brush to brush it on outer edges.

Bake until puffed and golden. The pastry should be crisp on the edges and bottom.
