If you read Friday’s post on grocery budgeting, you know that this month I’ve set myself up with a $300 grocery budget. I’ve already blown through $89 of that buying ingredients for yesterday’s football party and booze. Keeping it real, people.
Anyway, that means I need to be more watchful for the rest of the month. Here’s the week’s meal plan.
Monday: Cheese tortellini & garlic bread
Tuesday: Sesame Chicken. This is so good, my son requested it. I serve it up with steamed broccoli.
Wednesday: Tuna salad sandwiches
Thursday: Chana masala
Friday: Homemade pizza
Saturday: Out for a friend’s birthday
Sunday: Easy Steak & Cheese Sandwiches*
Snacks: Cocoa Granola Clusters, fruit

I’m hoping we’ll be able to stay on track. We have one car in the shop for repairs right now, and it has been surprising how annoying it has been to only have one car. We only got our second car three years ago, so it’s obvious how quickly we got used to it.
What are you making this week?
