Frisee Salad
Change up your side salads with this fresh frisee salad, featuring crunchy walnuts and creamy blue cheese.

Ingredients

friseé (curly endive)

walnuts
coarsely chopped
1/2
cup
crumbled blue cheese
1/4
cup
extra virgin olive oil

tablespoons
champagne vinegar
1/2
teaspoon
dijon mustard
1/2
teaspoon
honey
2
teaspoons
minced shallot
kosher salt
to taste
ground black pepper
to taste

cored, halved, and sliced
Instructions
Place the friseé, walnuts, and crumbled blue cheese in a large bowl. Toss to combine.
In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, vinegar, mustard, honey, and shallot. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Add half of the dressing to the salad, tossing to combine the ingredients. Taste, add more to taste.
Divide the salad between 4 plates. Fan out the pear slices and add half a pear to each plate. Serve.
