Thanksgiving

Considered the “Main Event” when it comes to cooking, Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays.

I’m all about the side dishes and love to have as many options as possible on the table. My husband and younger son live for the turkey, and my older son saves all of his room for dessert.

If you like to go big or prefer to keep the gathering small, there are plenty of recipe options for you.

  • Brussels sprouts have turned into a go-to vegetable for me, and this simple Brussels sprouts with walnuts and cranberries is a great introduction.
  • Cranberry ice cream is a nice change from the standard Thanksgiving dessert, and it pairs wonderfully with pumpkin pie!
  • Kale and quinoa stuffed squash is a great option if you’re looking for meat-free options this holiday.
  • My maple pecan pie skips the corn syrup and uses maple syrup instead for the most flavorful pecan pie ever.
